About the Camp
Structure. Growth. Community.
For many East Baltimore youth, summer means unsupervised time, food insecurity, and limited opportunity. The Mack Lewis Foundation Summer Camp was built to be a direct alternative — structured, enriching, and completely free.
More than 70 youth participate each summer in a program that blends physical activity (including boxing), academic support, creative arts, and one-on-one mentorship. Campers build skills and friendships that carry through the school year.
Our staff and volunteer mentors are drawn from the community — people who know these kids, know this neighborhood, and are committed to the next generation of East Baltimore leaders.

Camp Activities

Mentorship
Each camper is paired with a mentor — a coach, community leader, or volunteer — who provides consistent guidance and support.
Field Trips & Enrichment
